Production Presented By Dutch National Ballet And China NCPA Orchestra At National Center For The Performing Arts#

This week (Nov. 17-18), the Dutch National Ballet and China NCPA Orchestra will present the debut performance of Don Quixote at Beijing's National Center for the Performing Arts, choreographed by former Bolshoi Ballet art supervisor Alexei Ratmansky.

Considered the closest version to the 1869 original, this performance of Don Quixote has spurred something of a ballet revival in the Netherlands since its original debut, and looks to do the same in Beijing. With the flourishing performing arts scene we've seen gradually developing in Beijing over the past several years, and growing interest in dance among the city's residents, Don Quixote should make an excellent addition to the NCPA's fall lineup.

Tickets range in price from 80 yuan to 480 yuan (US$12-72).
