Partners With Bentley And Mandarin Oriental, HK For Fashion Exclusive
Warming up for Spring/Summer 2013, expanding Hong Kong fashion mini-empire JOYCE recently held its bi-annual exclusive private preview of the upcoming season for the city’s fashion elite.
This year’s preview took place at JOYCE’s flagship in Central, which was transformed into a top-secret fashion hideaway. Partnering with Bentley, JOYCE provided private car service for guests, who indulged in a “molecular” gastronomic experience custom created by the chefs from the Mandarin Oriental.
This season’s collections include looks from Alexander McQueen, Alexander Wang, Balenciaga, Christopher Kane, Dries Van Noten, Dsquared2, Etro, Gamme Rouge, Giambattista Valli, Givenchy, Haider Ackermann, Jil Sander, Lanvin, Manish Arora, Mary Katrantzou, Meadham Kirchoff, Oscar de la Renta, Peter Pilotto, Quentin Veron, Rick Owens, JOYCE by Romeo Gigli, Sacai, Saint Laurent Paris, Stella McCartney, Toga, Vera Wang, Victoria Beckham, Vionnet and Yang Du and many more.
As JOYCE wrote of the new S/S 2013 collections:
Top trends to look out for this spring include high-low skirts, ruffles and transparency, as women’s wear moves towards a more refined vision of femininity. Colours run the gamut from edgy black and white to rich jewel tones that signal the start of summer. Men, meanwhile, are embracing their feminine side with floral patterns and sheer fabrics. Short suits are a great alternative for city boys while metallic touches add a futuristic edge.
