    First China Location Recently Opened In Shanghai#

    With some estimates seeing China's gem and jewelry market ballooning to US$200 billion by 2015, up from $48 billion in 2011 and $14 billion in 2000, international jewelers continue to pour in, chasing an emerging middle class that continues to fall under the spell of diamonds, gold and platinum.     , which currently operates 165 stores in 12 countries and has 170 retail partners worldwide, and recently opened its first store in Shanghai.

    Located at the Takashimaya Department Store on Hongqiao Road, the new location stocks a wide range of the jeweler's collections, including nature-inspired pieces that are being promoted in China in advance of Chinese New Year.

    As a relative latecomer to the China market, H.Stern is working to build brand awareness via its official Weibo page and by working with local celebrities like actress
