New York Fashion Week’s Spring 2024 showcase ends tomorrow. In the Big Apple, brand collab news includes Rimowa and Tiffany sneakily revealing their upcoming co-branded launch via an exhibition at the Chelsea Factory, Naomi Campbell debuting her unforeseen Pretty Little Thing collection, and Jean Paul Gaultier (JPG) collaborating with Knwls on an Instagram hit.

  • Building on the cult popularity of Kiko Kostadinov’s consistent collaborations with Asics, the designer has joined forces with Los Angeles art gallery Morán Morán to create the Otto 958 fashion project.

  • The two Gel-Flexkees combine the noughties fashion resurgence, football culture, and the ironically ugly yet high-tech designs that Kostadinov is known for.

  • Launching on September 8 via Otto 958 in the US, they sold out within minutes, and are already listed on eBay for more than double the original retail price.

  • Both hailing from Spain, the labels are able to further leverage their nationality and embrace Spanish fashion design via this collab.

  • Palomo Spain is able to connect with a more mainstream consumer base by partnering with Bimba Y Lola, which boasts a following of 1.7 million on Instagram. In return, Bimba Y Lola had the opportunity to present at NYFW, and explore higher-end offerings.

  • Praised as one of the “best collections to come out of NYFW ever,” by one fashion critic, Palomo Spain’s show has been a highlight for many, foreshadowing great sales for this collection.
