Maria Grazia Chiuri is reportedly poised to take over as creative director of Fendi, according to multiple fashion industry sources. While parent company LVMH has not yet confirmed the appointment, publications including WWD, Harper’s Bazaar, and The New York Times Magazine have described her arrival as all but certain. The move would follow Silvia Venturini Fendi’s departure from her creative role. Chiuri began her career at Fendi in 1989 in the accessories department, where she worked alongside Pierpaolo Piccioli and contributed to creating the iconic Baguette bag. In 2016, she became the first female creative director of Dior. She left Dior in May 2025.
