Capitalizing on the eagerness of brands to cash in on China’s booming luxury market, Hong Kong’s Sparkle Roll Group will host a three-day forum and exhibition on China’s luxury brand culture in Beijing beginning May 23. Following their luxury expo last fall, this year’s event will include key speakers, auctions, charity banquets, a luxury brand exhibition featuring designs from dozens of high-end names, and a mass media forum providing media outlets a platform to discuss China’s luxury industry.

For Zheng Haojiang, CEO of Sparkle Roll Group, such a platform is important as the company “want[s] to hear from the journalists, so we will have this sub-forum for them to speak their views on luxury brands and luxury culture.” The conference will conclude with a charity auction of two paintings that have been donated to the Jackie Chan Charitable Foundation by the Sparkle Roll Group, both of which have a combined value of nearly one million yuan (US$160,810).
