Chinese tourists are arriving in Europe in record numbers. Next year, their numbers may pass 100 million outbound departures. A new tourism law which took effect this October is challenging the group tour operators and travel agencies to improve the level of service they are offering Chinese tourists and shines a light on the practice of shopping commissions and optional tour sales. It is now more important than ever to focus on reputation and high-quality service to Chinese visitors.

Aiming to provide insights and tools for retailers, tour operators, and hospitality providers to better understand the mind-set of Chinese tourists and learn to deal with the Chinese Travel Trade, this three-hour workshop will look at both Chinese and Western tourism sectors, discuss the noticeable patterns and future trends in the tourism industry.

Jeremy Gordon,  China Edge Director & China Business Consultant
