Fighting the Fakes, presented by the American Apparel & Footwear Association, AAFA takes place on July 11 in NYC. Designed to address intellectual property and anti-counterfeiting for apparel and footwear companies, this workshop is a forum for thought leadership and idea exchange. Top of mind issues such as cross-border e-Commerce, trends and risks of platforms, social media pitfalls and practices, and state of the art practices brand enforcement specialists can arm themselves with today, will all be covered.

AAFA’s Brand Protection Council co-chairs will lead The Brand Enforcer’s Top 10 Countdown session and be available for discussion at this event. The group focuses its efforts on the global war against counterfeit apparel, footwear, accessories, and other supplier products. Charged with helping to protect U.S. branded products against cheap imitations that are flooding the marketplace, the council is composed of legal, brand enforcement, and marketing representatives of AAFA member companies.
