China Hands NYC—New York City’s foremost community for professionals, experts, and creatives focused on the global China market, returns for its second installment on January 22 at WeWork Charging Bull.

The first China Hands NYC meetup, held in February 2013, was a great success, with group founders Avery Booker and Simon Cousins, and renowned author and analyst Andrew Hupert giving well-received talks on China's luxury marketthe Great Firewall of China and the emerging "new China hand.”

The new program for 2015 will be the best opportunity to meet other China Hands in the New York area, and will again feature three expert speakers and valuable networking opportunities at each monthly meetup.

The January 2015 installment of China Hands NYC will see Avery and Simon joined at the mic by Matt Schiavenza. Matt is a talented China Hand, journalist, and contributor to The Atlantic, where he served as the founding editor of the China Channel. Matt's writing has also appeared in the International Business TimesThe Daily Beast, and the Huffington Post among other publications.

Snacks and refreshments will be provided, and a $10 meetup contribution goes entirely towards the costs of staging New York's best China Hand networking community.
