Proceeds From Event Go To The Library Project#
Bend your elbow for a good cause at Beijing's
Great Leap Brewing#
on Saturday, February 2, as the fast-growing microbrewery hosts the second "Beers for Books" event. For each beer sold from 4-10 PM, Great Leap will donate 15 yuan to the Library Project, a charity that donates libraries-including books, furniture, and teacher training-to rural elementary schools, orphanages and community centers in China and Vietnam. Also at the event will be live music by the Beijing Pickers and food by Hutong Pizza, which will donate 15 yuan to the Library Project for each pizza ordered.
