Architecture firm 5+ Design has revealed renderings of its planned expansion of the China World Trade Center complex, which will feature a mixed-use project housing high-end luxury and more mid-range commercial outlets.

According to Design Boom, the complex’s mall will have several unique features:

The mall is clad in patterned and layered translucent glass, allowing light to enter the building and offering glimpses behind the scheme’s façade. Internally, glazed storefronts present onto open and brightly lit circulation routes, while numerous restaurants and bars offer panoramic views across Beijing. At night, the structure becomes illuminated, serving as a beacon for the site and welcoming those passing by.
