in Paris is poised to outdo its special FIAC 2011 events with a new series of promotions centered once again around world-class contemporary art.

Facing the Palais des Congres de Paris, the recently refurbished, 1,025 room Le Méridien Etoile last year offered a special private tour of FIAC 2011 by the hotelier's cultural curator, Jérôme Sans, followed by a gala dinner attended by members of the prestigious

community and a select group of artists and curators. This year, the hotel is infusing its FIAC offerings with a hint of Chinese contemporary art.

Along with complimentary entry to the art fair and vernissage, Le Méridien is set to hold a series of special events this week. Along with a special piece of art commissioned by an as-yet-unnamed LM100 member, France-based Chinese artist and fellow LM100 member An Xiaotong will create a Lego-based artwork that wraps up her "Creative Journey" triptych. Previous installments of the triptych were created by An at the Le Méridien Shimei Bay in Hainan province, China, and the Le Méridien Etiler Istanbul.

During FIAC 2012, guests will be able to meet with An Xiaotong and take a look at two pieces created for the event in the Le Méridien Hub: "Constellation" and "Etoile Filante."
