Fair Runs Through May 20#
Back for its fifth year, ART HK 12 – the Hong Kong International Art Fair — launched this week with its vernissage on May 16, and is open to the public through May 20 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). Asia’s leading international art fair, this year ART HK 12 will present 266 galleries from 38 countries, including 80 new participating galleries. This year, ART HK’s Galleries Section will welcome 182 galleries from 30 different countries hosting some of the most prestigious galleries from across Asia, Europe and the USA. As Bloomberg shows this week, in addition to growing public interest in the arts in Hong Kong, galleries taking part in ART HK 12 will welcome some very important attendees: billionaire collectors, both established and aspiring, looking to take home some multi-million-dollar prizes.
